“Robot Rock” and 40+ other songs in our AI Agent playlist

They’re collaboration and co-creation tools. At least, ChatGPT was for me in creating our new “AI Agent” Spotify playlist. I started by asking the LLM if it had any favorite songs;  ChatGPT responded by saying it didn’t have any personal favorites, but that it would be happy to recommend songs based on any specific genre or mood I had in mind. 

So then I asked, “Can you create an ‘AI Agent’ Spotify playlist? I'm generally looking for a retro-futuristic vibe.” 

And voila! 

ChatGPT shared a long list of track suggestions, which I then curated into a Spotify playlist. I then asked ChatGPT to describe the tone of the playlist. It told me that the playlist embodies a blend of nostalgia and futurism (unsurprising, given my “retro-futuristic” prompt), energy and contemplation, creating a versatile and dynamic listening experience, specifically saying … 

• The playlist exudes a retro-futuristic atmosphere, combining the warmth and charm of vintage synths with cutting-edge electronic sounds. It captures the essence of 80s synth-wave and modern electronic music, creating a unique blend that feels both nostalgic and forward-thinking.
• Many tracks in the playlist have an energetic and uplifting tone, making it ideal for moments when you need a motivational boost. These songs feature driving beats, catchy melodies, and vibrant synths that evoke a sense of adventure and excitement.
• Interspersed with the high-energy tracks are more mysterious and atmospheric pieces. These songs create an evocative, immersive experience, perfect for deep thinking, late-night coding sessions, or reflective moments. They often feature lush soundscapes, ambient textures, and haunting melodies.

So we decided to share the playlist! Perfect for coding marathons, creative sessions, or simply escaping into a futuristic dreamscape, we hope this playlist inspires and accompanies you as we reflect on where we’ve come from, and where we hope to go.
