FAQs

What platforms does Inscribe integrate with?

Inscribe connects to loan origination systems, decisioning and orchestration platforms, data providers, and cloud infrastructure. Today that includes Alloy, Taktile, and Oscilar, plus any system you can connect through the Inscribe API. Most teams go live through an existing partner integration or a direct API connection into their application workflow.

How does an Inscribe integration work?

Documents submitted during an application are sent to Inscribe. Inscribe analyzes them for tampering, fabrication, and inconsistencies, then returns a risk assessment and supporting evidence to your system — usually in seconds. Your team sees the result in the platform they already use, with no separate tool to check.

Can Inscribe work inside our existing origination workflow?

Yes. Inscribe is built to sit where documents are already submitted and reviewed, so nothing changes about how applications reach your team. Documents route to Inscribe automatically, and results come back before a credit decision is made.

What if my platform isn't listed?

The Inscribe API supports any platform that can send documents and receive a response. Partner integrations shorten the build, but they aren't a requirement — teams regularly connect Inscribe to homegrown systems, internal portals, and platforms we don't have a named integration with.

Does Inscribe replace my decisioning or orchestration platform?

No. Inscribe is a document fraud detection layer, not a decisioning engine. Your orchestration platform still owns the rules and the outcome — Inscribe supplies the document intelligence that informs it. Most customers pass Inscribe's risk signals into their existing decision logic.

Does Inscribe replace my existing fraud tools?

No. Inscribe covers a gap most fraud stacks don't: the documents applicants submit. Identity verification, device signals, and bank data tell you about the applicant. Inscribe tells you whether the paystub, bank statement, or invoice backing the application is real.

What document types does Inscribe analyze within our workflow?

Bank statements, paystubs, tax documents, invoices, utility bills, IDs, and other financial and identity documents submitted during onboarding or underwriting.

How long does it take to go live?

Partner integrations are typically the fastest path since much of the connection already exists. Direct API integrations usually take a few weeks depending on your team's availability and how documents move through your current workflow.

How much engineering work is required?

Less than most teams expect. The API is a straightforward document-in, assessment-out call. Teams integrating through an existing partner platform often need minimal engineering involvement at all.

Can we use Inscribe across more than one system?

Yes. Many customers run Inscribe in multiple workflows using the same underlying integration, so fraud detection stays consistent across products and channels.
